Garfunkel

Garfunkel – Internet slang term used to describe the act of leaving somebody behind or abandon them abruptly without warning or explanation.

Examples:

1. Sarah: Hey, did you see that John garfunkelled us last night? He left the party without saying anything.
Emily: Yeah, it was so rude of him to just disappear like that.

2. Alex: I thought we were going to watch the movie together, but Mark totally garfunkelled me and went with someone else.
Lisa: Wow, that’s not cool. He should have let you know.
