Game Over is an internet slang term used to indicate the end of a particular situation, competition, or relationship. It often signifies that a person or a team has failed or lost, with little or no chance of recovery or redemption. This phrase has its roots in video games, where it typically appears on the screen to indicate that the player has failed and the game has ended.

Examples:

1. After months of studying, I finally took my final exam. But when I received my grade, it was an F. Game Over.

2. Two players were fiercely competing in an online gaming tournament. In the final match, Player A seamlessly defeated Player B, leaving no hope for a comeback. Player B resigned and commented, “Game Over, you played really well!”
