Furry

The internet slang term “Furry” refers to a person who has an interest in anthropomorphic animal characters, often to the extent of wearing animal costumes or creating their own animal personas. It is a subculture comprised of individuals who enjoy expressing themselves through artwork, role-playing, and other forms of media revolving around anthropomorphic animals.

Example 1:

Person A: “Did you see that amazing drawing of a wolf character on the art forum?”
Person B: “Yeah, it’s incredible! The artist must be a talented furry.”

Example 2:

Person A: “I just finished designing my own animal persona. I’m so excited to show it off!”
Person B: “That’s awesome! I didn’t know you were into the furry community.”
