Fundie

The internet slang term “Fundie” is used to refer to someone who strongly adheres to religious fundamentalism. These individuals often hold conservative beliefs and are uncompromising in their views.

Example 1:
Person A: Did you see that comment on the article about evolution? It was made by a real Fundie.
Person B: Yeah, they were going on about how it goes against their religious beliefs. Some people are just unwilling to accept scientific evidence.

Example 2:
Person A: I posted a picture of my outfit today and got so much hate from Fundies saying it was immodest.
Person B: Ugh, ignore them! They can’t accept that people have different styles and preferences.
