Fold

In internet slang, “Fold” refers to quitting or giving up on a situation or a challenge. It means accepting defeat or giving in to someone or something.

Examples:

1. After playing video games for hours, Sarah couldn’t defeat the final boss and decided to fold. She felt frustrated and wanted to move on to another game instead.

2. John and his friends were participating in a hot chili eating contest. Despite his initial enthusiasm, John couldn’t handle the extreme spice level and had to fold. He had to bow out of the competition and drink milk to ease the burning sensation.
