Finsta is a short form of the term “fake Instagram.” It refers to a separate, private Instagram account that a person creates alongside their main or “real” account. Finstas are often used to share more personal, silly, or unfiltered content with a small group of close friends.
Examples:
1. I made a finsta to post funny and embarrassing pictures that I don’t want everyone on my main account to see.
2. My friends and I have a finsta where we can be ourselves and not worry about getting judged by others.
