Filipino Time refers to a cultural concept in the Philippines where people have the tendency to arrive or start events later than the agreed upon time. It is a form of humorously acknowledging the common habit of being late among Filipinos.

Examples:

Friend: Hey, the party starts at 7 pm, right?
You: Yes, but expect everyone to arrive on Filipino Time, so maybe around 8 pm.

Sibling: Can we leave at 9 am tomorrow?
You: Sure, but let’s be on Filipino Time in case they also arrive late.
