Fib

“Fib” is an internet slang term used to describe a lie or falsehood that someone tells. It refers to an instance where someone is not being truthful or honest about something.

Examples:

1. Sarah: Did you finish your homework last night?
John: Yeah, I totally did. No fibs.

2. Emma: I heard you got an A on your test. Is that true?
Alex: Yeah, it’s not a fib. I studied really hard for it and it paid off.
