Fandom refers to a passionate and dedicated community of fans who share a common interest in a particular person, group, TV show, movie, book, or any other form of entertainment. Fandoms can be found online, primarily on social media platforms and fan websites, and they often develop their own unique language, inside jokes, and traditions.

Examples:
1. Being part of a fandom can be exciting as you get to connect with fellow fans who share your love for something. For instance, the Harry Potter fandom celebrates the release of each new book or movie through fan gatherings, cosplay events, and online discussions.
2. In the K-pop fandom, fans will often cheer on their favorite groups during performances by using light sticks, commonly referred to as “fanchants.” Fandoms create and share these fanchants to show their support and unity.
