Fanboying is an internet slang term used to describe when someone (usually a male) is excessively enthusiastic and obsessed with a particular person, brand, or product. It implies that the person is a fan to an extreme degree and may blindly support or defend their chosen subject.
Examples:
1. John is such a fanboy of Apple that he waits in line for hours whenever a new product is released, and he defends the company against any criticism.
2. Lisa can’t stop talking about her favorite pop star. She has posters of him all over her room, attends all his concerts, and even created a fan page dedicated to him on social media. She’s a total fanboy.
