The internet slang termFalling For It” means to be tricked or deceived by something or someone. It is used to describe the act of believing a false statement, hoax, or prank without realizing it.

Example 1:
Person A: Did you see that viral video claiming aliens landed in our town?
Person B: Yeah, I can’t believe people are falling for it! It’s obviously a fake video with special effects.

Example 2:
Person A: I received an email saying I won a free trip to Hawaii, but I have to pay a small fee to claim it.
Person B: Be careful! It’s probably just a scam to get your money. Don’t fall for it!
