Eftpos

Eftpos is an internet slang term that stands for “electronic funds transfer at point of sale.” It refers to the electronic payment system used for making purchases via debit or credit cards.

Examples:
1. Person A: I forgot to bring cash for the movie tickets. Can I pay you back later?
Person B: Don’t worry, just use eftpos and pay me back when you can.

2. Friend 1: I’m going shopping, but I don’t want to carry cash everywhere.
Friend 2: Just bring your debit card. Almost all the stores have eftpos available for payments.
