DTR

DTR stands for “Define The Relationship.” It is an internet slang term/abbreviation commonly used in online dating or relationships to discuss and clarify the status or expectations of a romantic connection.

Examples:

Example 1:

• Person A: Hey, we’ve been seeing each other for a while now. Can we DTR?
• Person B: Yeah, I think it’s time we define what we want from this relationship.

Example 2:
