A “Dry Texter” refers to someone who communicates in a boring or unenthusiastic manner through text messages, emails, or online chats. They often give short and uninteresting responses, which can be frustrating for the person trying to engage in a conversation.

Examples:

– When trying to make plans with a friend, you send them a message asking, “Hey, want to grab dinner tonight?” Instead of showing any excitement or interest, your friend responds with a simple “Sure,” without offering any additional information or showing enthusiasm. This makes them a “Dry Texter.”

– You send a lengthy text message to your crush expressing your feelings and asking them out on a date. In response, they reply with a cold “Maybe,” without providing any further explanation or showing any excitement. This lack of enthusiasm and effort in their response makes them a “Dry Texter.”
