In internet slang, the term “Dom or Sub” refers to a categorization of roles in sexual relationships, specifically within the realm of BDSM (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission, Sadism, and Masochism). It stands for “Dominant” or “Dom” and “Submissive” or “Sub.” These terms are used to describe the power dynamics and preferences individuals have during intimate activities.

Examples:
1. James enjoys taking on the dominant role and being in charge during his sexual encounters. He likes asserting control and having his partner submit to his desires, making him a Dom.
2. Emma prefers to be submissive in her relationships, deriving pleasure from surrendering control to her partner and following their instructions. This makes her a Sub.
