Dismantle, in internet slang, means to break down or refute someones argument or point of view in a strong and convincing manner. It often involves deconstructing their statements or beliefs by presenting logical counterarguments or exposing flaws in their reasoning.

Examples:
1. UserA: The new movie is horrible. The storyline is weak, and the actors are terrible.
UserB: Actually, I disagree. While the storyline may not be as intricate as some other films, it still manages to entertain and engage viewers. Additionally, the cast includes highly skilled actors who have delivered impressive performances in the past. Therefore, your statement about the movie being horrible is not well-supported.

2. UserA: I don’t understand why people complain about climate change. It’s just a natural occurrence.
UserB: I appreciate your perspective, but scientific research overwhelmingly supports the notion that climate change is largely caused by human activities. The evidence includes rising global temperatures, melting ice caps, and the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, dismissing climate change as a natural occurrence contradicts well-established scientific facts.

Synonyms:
destroy, demolish, take apart, break down, dismantle, disassemble, deconstruct, dismember, strip down
