DIKU is internet slang for “Do I Know You?” It is commonly used in online conversations to express confusion when someone contacts or interacts with a person without recognizing or recalling who they are. It conveys the message of asking for clarification or inquiry about the other person’s identity.

Examples:

  • Person A: Hey, remember that crazy night we had last year?

    Person B: DIKU? Sorry, I don’t seem to recall. Could you remind me?

  • Person A: I saw your profile picture on social media and wanted to say hi!

    Person B: DIKU? I don’t think we’ve met before. How do you know me?
