Catch feels means to develop strong emotions or feelings, often romantic or sentimental, for someone or something.

When someone catches feels, it means they start developing genuine emotions or deep affection towards another person. This can happen in the context of a romantic relationship, where someone goes from simply being attracted to someone to having strong feelings of love or infatuation. However, catching feels can also occur in non-romantic situations, such as when someone becomes deeply attached or connected to an activity, hobby, or even a particular place.

Example 1: After spending more time together, Jane started to catch feels for John and realized she had fallen in love with him.

Example 2: Michael didn’t expect to catch feels for playing the piano, but after months of practicing and performing, he developed a deep emotional connection to the instrument and couldn’t imagine his life without it.
