Bumping

Bumping is a slang term used to describe bringing a post or thread back to the top of a forum or social media feed by commenting on it.

When someone comments on an old post to make it appear recent or relevant again, they are bumping the post. It can be done intentionally to gain more attention or to revive a discussion that has been inactive for a while. Bumping is a common tactic used in online communities to increase engagement and visibility of a particular post.

2. “Can someone bump this thread? I think it has valuable information that others should know about.”
