Bouji is a slang term used to describe someone who is flashy, extravagant, and snobbish. It is often used to refer to individuals who display a pretentious or high-class attitude, often showing off their wealth or possessions.

It is derived from the French word “bourgeoisie,” which refers to the upper middle class or wealthy individuals. Bouji individuals often showcase their luxurious lifestyle and act as if they are part of the elite. They may flaunt designer clothing, expensive cars, and frequent exclusive clubs and restaurants.

Example 1: “Sarah always posts pictures of her expensive jewelry and trips to exotic locations on social media. She’s so bouji.”

Example 2: “Jason refuses to go to any restaurant that doesn’t have a Michelin star. He has such bouji taste.”
