Bogus: Not genuine or fake. It refers to something that is false, phony, or deceitful.

Bogus is a slang term used to describe something that is not real or authentic. It is often used to refer to fake or counterfeit items, but can also be used to describe false information, deceptive behavior, or anything that is dishonest or misleading. The term originated in the 19th century and has remained in use to this day.
