Body Shop is a slang term commonly used to refer to cosmetic surgery or clinics that offer procedures to enhance ones physical appearance, particularly the body. It implies undergoing surgical or non-surgical treatments to modify the shape or features of the body.

In the world of slang, Body Shop takes on a different meaning and refers to the premise where these procedures are carried out. It can include establishments that offer a wide range of cosmetic services such as lip fillers, breast augmentation, Botox injections, or facelift surgeries. This term is often used humorously or jokingly to highlight the idea of “fixing” or “upgrading” one’s body as if it were similar to getting repairs done in an actual auto body shop.

Example 1: “Im thinking about visiting the body shop to get some work done on my nose.”
Example 2: “She had a whole makeover at the body shop – Botox, lip fillers, and a breast augmentation.”
