Bob and weave is a slang term that originates from boxing. It refers to a defensive technique where a boxer dodges punches by moving their head from side to side in a quick and unpredictable manner.

In the ring, the bob and weave technique involves continuously shifting the head and body position to avoid getting hit by the opponents punches. By constantly moving and changing angles, the boxer can make it difficult for their opponent to land clean punches, increasing their chances of avoiding damage.

Example 1:
John’s opponent was throwing powerful punches at him, but he expertly bobbed and weaved, dodging every single one of them.

Example 2:
Sarah knew that to protect herself, she had to bob and weave when her opponent started throwing a flurry of punches. She swiftly moved her head from side to side, evading the incoming strikes.
