Billing refers to the process of charging or invoicing someone for goods or services provided. In slang terms, “billing” can also refer to a persons reputation or the way they present themselves.

In the entertainment industry, the term “billing” is often used to describe the order in which actors’ names are listed in the credits of a film or television show. The order of billing usually reflects the actors’ status and importance in the production.
