Auralism is slang used to describe someone who has a strong preference for listening to and absorbing information through auditory means, such as lectures or audio recordings.

Auralism refers to a persons inclination to learn or gather information primarily through their sense of hearing rather than visual or tactile means. This term is often used to define individuals who find it easier to comprehend and retain knowledge when it is presented to them verbally, rather than through reading or hands-on activities.

Example 1: “Samantha is auralism and prefers to study by listening to recorded lectures rather than reading textbooks.”
Example 2: “John’s auralism helps him excel in language classes as he absorbs information easily through listening to spoken words.”
