An askhole is someone who constantly asks for advice or seeks opinions from others but never follows or appreciates the suggestions given. This term combines the words “askandasshole” to express the frustration experienced when dealing with someone who repeatedly asks for advice but does not act upon it or show gratitude.

An askhole is typically a person who seeks guidance or opinions from others but fails to value or use the advice they receive. This person may ask for help on various subjects, such as relationships, career decisions, or even mundane everyday matters, but consistently disregards the suggestions given. Moreover, they may continually seek advice from the same individuals without ever acknowledging or implementing their suggestions. This term is often used humorously to convey the annoyance or exasperation caused by such behavior.

Example 1: Sarah constantly asks her friends for relationship advice but never follows any of it. Her friends have come to call her “the queen of askholes.”

Example 2: John always seeks career advice from his co-workers but never takes any action based on their recommendations. His colleagues have grown tired of his askhole tendencies.
