Alley is a slang term used to refer to a basketball court or a place where people play basketball. It is derived from the word “alley-oop,” which is a term used in basketball for a high-passing play near the basket. The term “alley” is often used informally to describe any basketball court, be it an outdoor court or an indoor one.
