AIMB stands for “As I Mentioned Before.” It is an internet slang term commonly used to indicate that the person has already discussed or referred to something in a previous conversation or message. AIMB is often used to avoid repeating information that has already been stated.

Example 1:

Person A: I’m planning a trip to the beach this weekend. I’ll be staying in a beautiful beach house.

Person B: AIMB, are you going alone or with friends?

Explanation: Person B uses AIMB to refer to a previous mention made by Person A about their upcoming trip. Person B wants to know if Person A will be going alone or with friends, without repeating the initial statement.

Example 2:

Person A: The concert tickets for my favorite band went on sale today. I managed to grab two!

Person B: AIMB, which date is the concert scheduled for?

Explanation: Person B uses AIMB to remind Person A that they previously mentioned buying concert tickets. Person B wants to know the specific date of the concert.
