Agora is a slang term derived from Portuguese and commonly used among the Brazilian jiu-jitsu community. It refers to a gathering or meet-up where practitioners and enthusiasts of the sport come together to train, discuss techniques, and share experiences. Agora can take place in a gym, park, or any suitable location where people can engage in jiu-jitsu practice.

Example 1: Let’s go to the Agora tomorrow to work on our takedowns and practice new submissions.

Example 2: The Agora last week was amazing! I learned a lot from different black belt instructors and got to roll with some high-level fighters.
