John couldn’t get tickets to the concert, so he said the band’s music was overrated and boring. He’s just sour grapes because he couldn’t go.
Sarah didn’t get accepted into the prestigious university, so she claimed that the education there is not worth it anyway. It’s clear that she’s just sour grapes about it.
