The internet slang term “Soon (Tm)” is used to sarcastically or humorously indicate that something is not going to happen in the near future, despite initial expectations or promises.

Examples:

John: “When will you finish that report?”
Sarah: “Oh, don’t worry, Ill do it soon (Tm).” (implying that it won’t be done anytime soon or possibly not at all)

Friend 1: “Hey, when are you going to start working out and get in shape?”
Friend 2: “Hmm, probably soon (Tm).” (indicating that the intention to work out is there, but the actual action may not materialize for a while)
