Soft Launch is an internet slang term used to refer to the release of a product or service in a limited or controlled manner, typically to a small group of users or within a specific geographical area, before making it available to the general public. It allows developers or companies to gather feedback, identify and fix issues, and make necessary improvements before a wider release.

Examples:

1. Company A decided to do a soft launch of their new mobile app to a select group of beta testers. These users will provide valuable insights and help the company improve the app’s functionality and user experience before it becomes available to everyone.

2. The video game developer opted for a soft launch of their highly anticipated game in a few countries to test the servers’ stability and evaluate players’ response. They plan to make adjustments based on the feedback received during this phase before releasing it globally.
