SNAFU

SNAFU is an internet slang term/abbreviation that stands for “Situation Normal, All Fucked Up.” It is used to describe a situation or scenario that is chaotic, disorganized, or filled with problems. Here are two examples illustrating the use of this term:

Example 1:

• Person A: Did you hear what happened at the company meeting today?
• Person B: No, what’s up?
• Person A: Well, the projector malfunctioned, the boss forgot the presentation, and half the attendees got lost on their way there. It was a total SNAFU!
