Bougie Ghetto is a slang term that describes someone who displays both bougie (referring to a pretentious or snobbish attitude) and ghetto (referring to a low-income or urban background) characteristics.

This term is used to describe individuals who come from a lower-income background but actively adopt the behaviors and attitudes associated with wealth and luxury. They may put on airs of sophistication and wealth, even though their roots may be humble.

Example 1: Sarah grew up in a working-class neighborhood, but after college, she started dressing in expensive designer clothes and only dining at high-end restaurants. Her friends started calling her bougie ghetto because she was acting like she came from money, despite her modest upbringing.

Example 2: Mark always used to wear baggy clothes and listen to rap music, but recently he started wearing designer brands and boasting about his expensive sports car. His friends say he’s acting bougie ghetto because he adopted the trappings of wealth without actually having the means to support it.
