African Goggles is a slang term used to describe a situation where someone wears sunglasses to hide their bloodshot eyes after smoking marijuana.

This term is typically used when someone wants to conceal evidence of cannabis use, especially the redness and inflammation that can occur in the eyes after smoking. It is derived from the idea that wearing sunglasses can help mask these signs, just like goggles would protect the eyes.

Example 1: “Hey man, why are you wearing sunglasses indoors? Are you trying to hide your African Goggles?”

Example 2: “I can tell Dave had a wild night last evening because he’s rocking African Goggles today. It’s pretty obvious he lit up.”
