A Mimir is slang used to describe someone who is constantly studying or always buried in books. It refers to a person who spends a lot of time focused on academics or learning.

A Mimir is derived from the Old English word “mÄ«rra,” meaning a renowned or wise person. In Norse mythology, Mímir was known as the guardian of knowledge and had a well of wisdom where he would often spend his time. This slang term plays on the idea of someone who is so dedicated to studying that they resemble Mímir in their thirst for knowledge.

Examples:
1. “John is such a Mimir, he’s always at the library and spends every weekend studying instead of going out with friends.”
2. “Emma is pulling an all-nighter again. She’s such a Mimir, always striving for perfection in her academics.”
